[EMBOSS] emboss server

Hi Jeremy

Tomcat 5.5.* series  will require Java 1.5. If you want to use java 1.4.2
you will need to use 5.0.28. So you will need to do a fresh install
which means stopping tomcat and removing the tomcat, axis, and emboss
installations.

If you still have problems after re-installing check the tomcat logs
($TOMCAT/log/catalina.out) for error messages. Also ensure that you  :

-are running tomcat as the UID you define on installation
-chown jembossctl to root and chmod u+s jembossctl.
-ensure that the results directories are world read-writable.
